In general, the Foundation does not accept applications for endowment, operating support, benefit fundraisers, annual fund appeals, or from fiscal agents. Grants will not be made for leases or rentals of equipment, for subscription-based software, or any other recurring fees. Grants are not made to individuals, or for projects outside the United States of America.
Nonprofit organizations located in the five boroughs of New York City, and Essex, Morris, and Union Counties in New Jersey.
Applications are accepted online from December 15 to February 1, 2025 for consideration at the Spring meeting, and from June 15 to August 1, 2025 for the Fall meeting. If the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline will be the next business day.
Note: There is an ongoing review of proposals during the application period; because there is a finite amount of funds budgeted for each grant cycle, applicants are encouraged to submit their proposal early in the application period.
Grant awards traditionally range from $5,000 to $20,000.
