Colocation America
Summary

Colocation America proudly supports the development and integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning opportunities for youth in the communities they serve. One of the ways they support these activities is by funding innovative STEM youth programs. The purpose of this funding is to increase student interest and encourage more students to pursue a career in STEM-related fields. STEM Innovation Grant requests include programs or projects that:
- Provide students with developmentally appropriate opportunities to grow an interest in STEM.
- Develop, improve, or expand resources and/or curriculum available in STEM classrooms and other learning environments.
- Ensure students have the core competencies needed to pursue a career or degree in STEM fields.
- Provide activities that support student application of STEM knowledge to real-life applications.
Grant funds may be used to purchase non consumable/consumable items, stipends for staff, field trips, travel expenses, tools/equipment needed to support a STEM environment, and curricula development, training and/or retention.
