The Oregon Community Foundation hosts a broadly accessible, responsive statewide grants program. Its long-term goals are to strengthen the social fabric of Oregon communities and improve the lives of all Oregonians. This program responds to evolving, community-identified needs and builds civic leadership and engagement.
Each of the two grant cycles in 2024 offers distinct types of funding. This request for proposals is specific to the 2024 spring cycle; details for the fall cycle will be available later in 2024.

To be competitive in the 2024 spring cycle, an organization must be either small and rural, culturally specific and/or culturally responsive.
Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) organizations, Tribal entities and government entities operating in Oregon.
Organizations that received a 2023 fall Community Grant award for capacity building, capital or project funding are NOT eligible for a spring 2024 Community Grant for general operating support.
Applications were to be submitted by January 8, 2024. Future deadlines will vary by program area.
Individual awards range from $5,000 to $30,000 each, with an average award of $20,000. The Foundation gives 350 grants annually. All 2024 grants will be one year in duration.
